The first morning at the new campsite, right by the water and with new and clean sanitary facilities, was glorious. We were well-rested from the first night and were looking forward to a relaxed breakfast. Since we had no time pressure to arrive anywhere, we finally inaugurated our camping stove and made a delicious scrambled eggs. This camping equipment with a gas bottle and cookware is really recommended, small, compact, and super practical.
After breakfast, we headed to the beach. Since we were right by the sea, it was only a few steps until we had the sand beneath our feet. Beautiful white sandy beach, light blue water with white, slightly foaming waves. Wonderful!
Because the beach is only used by the campsite, it was not crowded and very pleasant. So, the first day consisted of lounging in the sun, occasional swims in the sea, and watching the many surfers. This is the relaxed part of our trip!
The next three days continued the same way, starting the day with a relaxed breakfast, slowly preparing, and spending the day at the beach. Unfortunately, the wind increased significantly during these days, so lying on the beach became quite uncomfortable (that's how a schnitzel must feel when it gets properly breaded).
Since everything was available at the campsite, we didn't really have to leave. There was even a fish stand at certain times, offering a wide selection of fresh fish. Here we could buy fresh prawns and decided to light up the grill in the evening (the communication problems about which prawns were pre-cooked were easily solved by the saleswoman putting a prawn directly into her mouth in front of our eyes). So, we had freshly grilled prawns with boiled potatoes (which also work great with the camping stove) and nice side dishes. Very delicious!
Overall, it were four fantastic days, which we concluded on the last evening with a wonderful dinner with a sea view and subsequent salsa music in the bar.
At this point, we would like to recommend the campsite and of course the camping stove 😉
