The region around Cafayate is well known as a wine-growing region because the climate is very good and it is sunny and relatively dry almost all year round. We had planned to spend two nights there and would have liked to visit one of the many wineries to try a bottle or two. The medication helped us through the night, but during the short walk after breakfast we realized that none of the activities would have been pointless. Sitting in the café on the town's central square was already exhausting and we decided to stay in the hotel for the afternoon. With the next stops (Iguazu Falls) in mind, we wanted to recover and finally get rid of the cold and stomach problems. We found some fruit in a supermarket to at least give our bodies a few vitamins. We pulled ourselves together for the evening and went out to eat a little something before going back to bed.
