Week 3 at the ranch

Week 3 was a relaxed one. The last two foals were born healthy and without complications, so the young team is complete. Since we only had to breed one mare, we had plenty of time for riding. While Tanya gave riding lessons, I got to work with a horse in the arena and gain more experience in Western riding. We also went on some trail rides for a change. Unfortunately, there aren't as many opportunities to ride through the forest anymore, as large lakes have formed over the past two wet summers.

On Sunday, I spent time with Tanya in the garden, we weeded the lawn from the flower beds, and Robert was in the garage tinkering with his vintage car.
