Today we got to know part of Los Angeles on a sightseeing bus tour. Since no tour was offered from the campsite, we independently took the train to Los Angeles Union Station. From there, we were able to hop on the first bus route of the sightseeing tour. Union Station is a very beautiful old train station with charm. Outside, we immediately entered the Mexican district, which showed us its best side in the afternoon with live music, dancing people, and a street full of market stalls. On the bus, we first went through downtown with numerous old and new magnificent buildings. Then we went to Hollywood via the highway. Here, we boarded the next bus route and spent 2 hours touring Hollywood, including the famous Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Strip, and Beverly Hills. It was not as impressive as we had imagined, but due to the lack of time of only one day, we could not explore on foot. Back at the Wall of Fame, we spent some time here, admiring some of the stars and the Chinese Theater. Film premieres take place here, and in front of the theater, there are many hand and footprints on cement slabs on the ground. We enjoyed the delicious Mexican cuisine one last time in one of the many restaurants before taking the bus of the first route back to downtown and then to the train station. We arrived at the destination station just in time for the beautiful sunset. After a short walk, we went straight to packing in the caravan so that we won't have much stress tomorrow. Now it's time to sleep one more time and then we start the journey home after amazing 13 days.
