Initially, we were in North Bay at Lake Nipissing, then spent several days in Algonquin Provincial Park, the oldest park in Ontario. It is the recreational area of Toronto and Ottawa, characterized by many lakes and endless forests. Ontario has about 250,000 lakes in total!
The next leg of our journey took us - once again a change of scenery - to the big city of Montreal. Montreal has a beautiful old town, an old port, and a large shopping street, all with a strong French influence. We now like Montreal more than Toronto.
From Montreal, we mostly drove along the backroads by the St. Lawrence River. At Riviere du Loup, the river is 20 kilometers wide and gets even wider as it heads towards the Atlantic.
We are currently at a campground in New Brunswick, where we stopped 5 months ago. There is also a restaurant here where you can eat very well.
A good piece of news to end with: After initially being unable to continue without the diagnostic device, the electronic fault has not appeared again while starting the camper for about a week. We are cautiously optimistic that we will reach our destination - the port of Halifax.
