First major breakdown -1 tire and -4 tubes

This morning, for the first time, I noticed that my rear tire is not in good condition anymore. Unfortunately, there was not enough time for a check-up at the bike mechanic before departure, as he had too much work.

It happened on the descent from the last pass. The tire had significantly deteriorated and there was a loud bang. Changing it with my spare tube didn't help. Nik rode 10 km down to the nearest village to get a tire on Saturday afternoon. I swapped Nik's spare tube and rode slowly down. I wanted to change the tire at the bike rental. Suddenly, Nik's tube also had a hole. The second attempt, together with the bike mechanic, was also unsuccessful. Allegedly, the new tires are very tricky to change. The third attempt, this time alone, by the professional was successful. To have two spare tubes again, I bought 4 tubes but didn't have to pay for the work and pumping.
