F: Santa Cruz

Wotae: 02.01.2020

We drove to our Christmas residence in Santa Cruz on December 24th with the charming Chevrolet Onix. We treated ourselves to a nice hotel in the middle of a vineyard in Valle Colchagua, the "Chilean Wine Valley". For Christmas Eve, the hotel organized a "Asada", a barbecue for the guests. We gladly took part and the tender piece of filet immediately made us feel like we were in gourmet heaven.

On Christmas Day, we took a walk up a hill, swam in the pool, and then went out for a delicious meal.

During breakfast, we met an unpleasant gentleman. He was with his wife, a Chilean native, and has been living in Chile for two years, but doesn't speak any, I mean, ANY Spanish. Yes, you guessed it, he's from the USA. Without us even asking, he explained to us how exemplary the USA is in terms of politics: all democratic states in the USA have high taxes, while all republican states have low taxes. Voila, it's clear what the world needs, right? And he also thinks that gun control is so stupid, it's obvious that a personal weapon is necessary. For example, there was a break-in at a black (what does that matter?) woman's house while she was home. Thanks to her gun, she was able to shoot and paralyze three of the intruders herself. And by the way, the worst thing ever is CNN because they report so anti-American and damage the image. For example, CNN never mentions that the frequently mentioned "immigrants" are actually "illegal immigrants"! Because they don't have anything against immigrants, just against the illegal ones, because they take away jobs from the legal ones, who desperately need them.

I couldn't say anything, I was so stunned by this person's stereotype and just nodded dumbly. At least Simon could mention that he doesn't share the same opinion."

Wunderbar, noch diese USA-Kunde. Im Iran liefern sie gerade wiederum ein Beispiel für ihr nachhaltiges, überlegtes Handeln.
