I don't want to talk about the second night flight without sleep from Singapore to Sydney 🥴.
Immigration centers, customs and entry requirements are taken very seriously in Australia! I brought gingerbread spice to my hostess at her request. To do this I had to fill out a form and answer questions from a customs officer..... similar to the Border Control documentary, if anyone knows that...
After a 3.5 hour stay at Sydney airport we finally went on to our destination.
Up the east coast with the propeller plane..... At first I was scared in my pants because there was a lot of rattling when taking off or climbing. The entire flight was even more beautiful and the visibility became clearer and clearer. Coast and endless expanses of the Pacific Ocean. Fantastic panorama!
Wonderful landing of the plane at a tiny airport in Coffs Harbor with only one parcel conveyor belt. What a blessing!
My dear hostess stood at the conveyor belt with a self-painted welcome picture! Isn't that sweet, I teared up a little and had to pinch myself that this was all real. Did I really travel to the other side of the world and spend 35 hours getting here?!? 🙃
We drove about an hour to Scotts Head through lots of green, hilly countryside. It was 27*C, felt like 33* and the sun was shining. That's why we went to the beach shortly before dusk and what does the Australian do on the beach... surfing of course... I got familiar with the waves of the Pacific and tried to swim.
Well guys, what can I say, I think the pictures speak for themselves...😅
