We are continuing our journey south to Kalbarri NP today, we even got caught in the first rain in 2 weeks today, it's gray outside, no sunshine so far.
Yesterday morning we were in Monkey Mia, dolphins have been swimming directly to the beach every morning for years. Meanwhile, it has become quite commercialized, access to the beach for the 5 of us costs 65 dollars, which is nearly 40 euros. Overall, everything related to animals costs an insane amount, shark feeding (it would have been nice to see them) and a few exotic fish, all very spartanly designed for 120 dollars!😳
Unfortunately, it rained during our visit to Kalbarri NP, so the colors weren't as impressive as in the sunshine, you can't choose the weather unfortunately.
This time we saw a lot of emus and kangaroos on the way, one time we were really lucky, the kangaroo didn't pay attention to right or left and almost ran into us, luckily everything is okay, the car is intact and the kangaroo is fine. It hurts to think about how many dead animals we saw on the side of the road…😞
Just saw a herd of giant kangaroos at the motel complex, beautiful animals...
Tomorrow we will return to Perth, the starting point of our tour.
