Another story from the camper & emerald-colored lakes

Wotae: 07.06.2023

Today was exhausting and later beautiful, then exhausting again, then hungry, then ate, then good again ;)

So this morning I planned to empty the camper and refill it with fresh water. Well, not so fast. After being brainwashed during the briefing, I didn't really know where everything was anymore 😬😕

I managed to empty the wastewater. That's the good part. So, I filled the fresh water where the hose fits. I filled and filled and filled, but the display in the car didn't change.

So I called the camper rental, they said they can't really say if I connected the hose correctly, but it should fit and I should be patient. Yeah, if that's the only problem 🙄 but somehow I had a bad feeling about it, and when water started to come out from inside the motorhome to the outside, I panicked. Shit, where did I put the water?! Desperately, I asked the older gentleman next door who was filling his up. He came over and explained that I had emptied/filled the blackwater tank. In short: toilet and shower. He told me to just empty it again and then he helped me find the right tank. At first, I didn't think much of it, filled up with fresh water and finally went on my way. I was hungry again after all that stress, so I parked for a moment and made myself a snack. When I came back into the camper, I noticed the mishap. I had so much water in the black tank that it flooded the shower cabin and the toilet. And I mean really flooded! I had my electrical stuff and personal items in there. Everything was full of pee water. At least my own, but still really gross. By the way, the new rolling suitcase had water inside, too. I had it in the bathroom. After being really pissed off, I went on my planned hike. I was just about to start when something in the camper started beeping really uncomfortably. Oh man, that was annoying. I called the hotline from the camper service. I think the guy was on drugs. I had to repeat every sentence twice and most of the time he just said: hmm or I'm sorry. When I asked for a solution, he had to ask someone else. After 20 minutes, he called me back. Yeah, I apparently didn't plug in the power supply properly (at the campsite) and now my battery is empty. Yeah great, and now?!??? He didn't really know either and said 'sorry' again. By now, I was boiling inside. In the end, I wanted to know from him if I could continue driving with the camper or not. At least he said yes to that. My goodness. I would have liked to shake him awake through the phone.

I was so glad to finally arrive in the forest. It took maybe 15 minutes and I was completely grounded. You can see the rest in the pictures. Oh, of course, my laundry was also in the bathroom and soaked with pee water, so I went to a laundromat and didn't understand a thing at first... but in the end, I managed that too. And every time I looked at a mountain massif, I thought to myself: what else do you want, you have everything right here 🙂🗻🌲

I hope you are doing well and we will hear from each other soon. I'm going to enjoy a pale ale now after these hardships ;) . See you soon 😘
