Tag 77 - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (28.03.2020)

Update from Kuala Lumpur:

Since our last blog post, the situation here in Malaysia has worsened.

Since 18.03.2020, a nationwide lockdown has been in place, which will last at least until 14.04.2020. Only shopping for groceries or medicine is allowed. The military and the police are controlling many entrances and have set up roadblocks.

Therefore, we spend our time on the 30th floor of a residential complex where our apartment is located. Facilities like the pool or the gym have also been closed.

A well-stocked supermarket with fresh food is only 5 minutes away. Therefore, every few days, we take a short walk outside to get groceries.

Our daily routine mainly consists of sports, online courses, reading, podcasts, audiobooks, Netflix, cooking, playing card games, and sleeping :)

Once a day, we also check the news about the current corona situation.

Nevertheless, we see everything positively, don't let ourselves go crazy, and try to ignore all the headlines as much as possible. We are both healthy and have everything we need (Yes, there is also plenty of toilet paper here :D )

Now we have time to focus on ourselves, make plans for the future, and take care of things we have long wanted to do.

If the situation here changes, we will, of course, report it.
