Welcome to Gran Canaria!

Hello from Gran Canaria!

We arrived well on the island yesterday. The 30-minute flight with the propeller plane was very pleasant. At the airport in Gran Canaria, we picked up our new rental car. The first impressions of the island are great. We met our landlords, who showed us the apartment and the surroundings in our place of residence, La Garita. The apartment is nicely furnished and very spacious. After a short shopping for today's breakfast, we had a quick dinner in the evening. We made a pizza. Then we fell exhausted into bed.

Today we took a tour of La Garita in the morning. We walked along the promenade to 'El Bufadero'. This is a typical geological formation for volcanic coasts. In any case, an extraordinary natural spectacle that you should see. We spent the afternoon on our local beach - Playa de la Garita. The waves were high again, but we enjoyed the cooling as it was still around 25°C today. In the evening we cooked tuna noodles.
