Stage 25: From Tirana to Karpen

After the city tour in Tirana, we continued westward, back to the coast. The main road between Tirana and Durres is full of potholes, and there are stands selling fruits and vegetables from the surrounding fields. Unfortunately, I only realized on the way that due to the time change, I could sleep an hour longer, but the sun also sets an hour earlier... So the stage was shorter than planned and I only made it to Divjaka. Luckily, I found a very nice campsite in Karpen, right on the coast. The market and restaurants were all closed, but I can imagine that the place is busy during the peak season. The campsite's friendly dog was happy to have some company. Since I couldn't find anything to eat and a long stage awaited me the next morning, I went to bed extra early.
