First day in London

We book a campsite on the outskirts of London. From here, we can take a direct bus to the subway, the bus stop is right in front of the campsite. The weather is beautiful, an ideal day to visit the city. Markus and I have never been to London before, even though I have had a pen pal here for over 40 years, we have never met. We have arranged to meet today. I am very excited to finally see Annmarie. We will meet at Westminster Tub. The joy is immense. Annmarie has taken the afternoon off for us and is showing us her city.

We explore the city on foot, with an insider it's absolutely great. London also has many parks, a lot of green in such a big city. Annmarie has prepared a picnic for us and we take a lunch break in one of the beautiful parks.

At the end of the day, our feet hurt, but it was a beautiful day in London.
