The great bike tour Day 36: Rome, second attempt

Yesterday I was exhausted, today I'm starting a new attempt. This Tiber bike highway is really great, it's fun to ride into the city. As a true Munich child, I'm used to the fact that during the Oktoberfest half the world populates the city, and here it's no different. The colorful hustle and bustle is nice to look at, but I decide that the overcrowded metropolis is not for me, I don't feel comfortable here.

No problem, I retreat to the campsite, give some tips to Dutch long-distance cyclists, and enjoy finally having some peace and quiet. It's good the way it is.

In the evening there's a storm with rain, the tent gets washed, nice. Less nice is the loud music from a bar, the vibration of the bass penetrates everything, including my earplugs. I'm annoyed and looking forward to leaving Rome tomorrow.
