It is what it is.

This blog now has the function of calming me down when everything around me is spinning too much or things don't go as planned. Today both is the case. The cable for the fridge, which I have been waiting for so long, is here. It seems to work, but the box for connecting to the solar power is broken. :( Maybe I should have ordered both at the same time.

Nevertheless, I'm leaving today. A solution will arise. I have already mentally and physically said goodbye to Granada and the people. The hot days, the warm nights, the loud bustle of Plaza Larga. That's Granada in July. Exhausting, not my world, but I'm grateful to be able to experience these days thanks to Momo's hospitality. 7 months ago I met Momo when I visited his spice shop. Despite our completely different lifestyles, I have gained him as a dear friend. It is often not the external factors that bring people together, but rather what connects them internally.

Sometimes I wonder why Granada has had such a magnetic effect on me, even though I know that peace and nature are better for me. In a podcast I once heard 'Life doesn't give you what you want, but what you need.' And yes, Granada has sometimes or quite often triggered me and shown me some areas that need improvement.

Now I'm off again. With my van. With myself. To a new country. Actually, I'm already used to it, but somehow I have a lot of respect for this journey again. Uncertainty about the new. Meeting new people. But I have often experienced that these are exactly the hurdles that you have to overcome in order to make it easy.
