A quick look out the window and the daily plan can be turned upside down. So no swimming for me today 😕
But it turned out to be very good indeed 😊
First stop was Porto Cristo to visit the Cuevas del Drach (Dragon Caves). And it was worth every penny.
You walk quite far down into the cave and there you are greeted with a small classical concert (and children screaming - but I won't comment on that any further 😀). Afterwards, you can stand in line to take a short boat ride around the cave, but I don't want to waste my vacation time waiting in line 😊
Then we went to Manacor. This is the hometown of Rafael Nadal. I actually couldn't care less, but I wanted to photograph something "Nadal-ish" for a dear friend. They actually have a museum about him. Entrance fee is 18€... I'd rather go to the free museum about the city itself. I don't have money to spare 😂
During the drive, I noticed a higher hill (in Catalan, "puig" means hill) and I just drove in that direction. And surprisingly, there was a small road leading up and I was rewarded with a great view 😊
Tomorrow, I'm definitely going to the beach before I reluctantly leave MY island. But at least there will be good weather for swimming 😊
