Almost a week ago now, but still present as if it was just yesterday: The grand performance from Wednesday. A presentation with ALL performers and some young artists, what a celebration.
In the big circus tent of the house, with not many people in the audience, a few bad spotlights that change color every five seconds, and music coming from a big speaker right next to me.
I was lying on my stomach, looking through the viewfinder of my camera, somehow feeling a bit excited. And then it started. I think the show went on for an hour, but I completely lost track of time. The photos were snapping away on their own, videos too, and I was just amazed, amazed, amazed. An unreal feeling, experiencing the people I have been living with for over a month now, the people I cooked with, chatted with, goofed around with, walked home with at four in the morning, for the first time on stage. Each one a clown, each one being themselves and yet somehow completely different - mind-blowing. I already knew they had it, I had seen them rehearsing, but still, I was totally blown away by the evening.
I probably don't need to tell much more, the photos speak for themselves. Oh, how beautiful is Granada!
