We decide to take the adventurous path to the 'Pinnacle Lookout' with a difficulty level of 'Medium/Hard'. This leads us 2.1km along steep stone stairs to a rock plateau with a breathtaking view. On the way there, we encounter picturesque canyons, rustic rocks, and the Grand Canyon of the Grampians NP. It's not as big as the original in America, but still very admirable. We meander through narrow alleys and climb steep stone stairs up to 'Silent Street'. This 'street' is a 200m long and approximately shoulder-width passage (Moritz just about fit through 😀) between two rock walls. Oncoming traffic had to wait on the stairs to pass. Up the stairs and climbing once again, then we were there. At the Pinnacle Lookout. The most popular viewpoint and now we also knew why. See for yourself in the pictures 😊 Two days later we went to the next spot, namely the Mckenzie Falls. We first looked at the waterfall from a lookout from above and then directly from below. Very beautiful! Especially good for cooling down the swollen mosquito bites a bit 🥴😄 Back at the campsite, two cute kangaroos visit us.
