Crocodiles & Alligators

Today I (Steffi) set off very early to experience an airboat tour through the Everglades 😊

Ms. Hangover Scaredy Cat didn't want to come along.

As I got closer to the Everglades, a strange feeling came over me, but I was also a little excited 😉

Finally arrived, I had half an hour until the tour started. Until then, I could look around the Alligator Farm and watch snakes, turtles, and emus alongside crocodiles.

A first highlight was a short snake show where I even dared to touch a snake 🐍

But then quickly to the boat dock... We could finally see crocodiles up close and in the wild now 😁😎

The crazy racer Paul started the airboat and navigated through the mangrove swamp. It didn't take long and some alligators showed up. Snapping turtles and gray heron Carl were already awake too.

The crazy driver raced through the water quite fast and included some cool moves, so we all got wet 😂💧

Unfortunately, the tour was over too quickly.

Afterwards, I could watch a crocodile show and later also witness the alligator feeding. They can snap pretty quickly 😨

My little highlight of the day was being able to hold a little crocodile 😁. It was soooo cute 😍 but not a pet for me.

All in all, a cool morning
