A few days have passed since I last posted here. Since then we have spent a lot of time on the beach, swimming in the pool, enjoying the sun and the food. And of course, above all, spending time as a family.
Yesterday we also went on an excursion. With tour guide: me! 😅 First we went to a brand new viewpoint in Phang nga. The hotel with the associated glass skywalk is still under construction but you can still take a look around and use the skywalk before the crowds arrive.
And it was really wonderful. The view of Phang Nga Bay was really beautiful and unique. It took a lot of courage for me to walk across it. And so did my mom. But we both managed it and it was worth it. We are proud of ourselves.
After a drink with this fabulous view, we went on to the beach near the village of Bang Tao. And it was really wonderful there. Hardly any people, nature, the waves and very clean.
Unfortunately the waves were too high for Kian and Mom but for the other three of us it was great and so much fun. Even though we had sand all over us afterwards and were completely wet.
In the afternoon we wanted to eat a fruit bowl in the café, but when we got there they unfortunately didn't have any left. So we ate something else and then went on to the next stop.
We went to Mai Khao - the airplane beach. The sand and the surroundings were so beautiful and the sun was slowly setting, so the sky slowly turned red/orange. Such a beautiful sight.
We were also able to watch a few planes. Unfortunately they were taking off, the landing would have been nicer. But it was still nice.
Afterwards, we headed back, happy but exhausted. We ate at our new favorite restaurant, P'Ann. The food there was simply delicious.
The green curry with spaghetti for mom, Siar and me were excellent and dad's chicken cashew nut was also amazing.
And so we went to bed full, happy and exhausted.
It was a great day and it was fun to drive around and explore new places. But what makes me happiest is being out and about with my mom and dad. The first vacation as grandma and grandpa and it's so lovely to watch. Kian is really enjoying himself and is actually laughing all the time.
I'm a little sad that our time together is coming to an end, but I'm incredibly grateful that I was able to experience it like this. It's something so special.
And until then, we are enjoying our time together and are just happy to have each other ❤️
