Western Australia is known for having some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, and for many even in the world. Even though we won't be able to get to the most remote places because we don't want to drive through the outback with Kian, we are willing to take in some of the most beautiful places here. Those that we can get to.
First stop: Yanchep Lagoon. And the travel reports weren't exaggerating. White sand, crystal clear blue water and relatively calm seas. That's what paradise must look like.
Water that looks like this is just perfect for swimming, so we put Kian's swimming gear on and wanted to go straight in. But that didn't happen straight away. Because, completely unexpectedly, the water here is really freezing cold 😂
How can water that looks so beautiful be so cold? And the sun almost always shines here and it's warm all year round... Nasty!! After a bit of overcoming, we managed it and took a cooling dip in the sea.
Afterwards we sunbathed and Kian and Siar even took a little nap on the beach. After a beautiful sunset we made our way back.
We got ourselves a very tasty 🌯 burrito and then went to bed. Tomorrow we're going on a trip that I'm really excited about. Stay tuned - I am too.
But one thing is already clear: Western Australia is simply beautiful in a different way!
