Day 3

Like every morning, we went on the idyllic footpath to Lake Stößensee. After a brief greeting, the knots were quickly repeated, as the excitement before the knot test was huge. Then the dinghies were prepared quite routinely and off we went today with a reefed sail, which turned out to be very forward-thinking. At first, the tacks and some even practiced jibing in a relaxed manner. But the wind got stronger and stronger, so some interesting maneuvers were sailed. One dinghy capsized, but thanks to yesterday's practice session, it was no problem at all. A quick march to the hotel during the lunch break provided dry clothes. After pizza a la Ute, unfortunately we didn't go out again as it was thundering. Safety first! Thanks to the rain, Micha's training boat was cleaned and the knot test was passed very successfully. Some were also a bit relieved, as the exhausting morning still sat deep.
