Cesarean section

Today I got to peek into the gynecology department at the hospital: my first cesarean section! It was very interesting but I had to step out of the operating room twice because I blacked out again.. I think I really need to buy support stockings because no matter how much I eat before a surgery, I almost always faint. But the cesarean section wasn't bad at all! The baby and the mother were healthy! Everyone took care of me and in the end, I was known as "the one who fainted" - great😂🙈

However, I can't see any difference in technology between Europe and Africa as I haven't witnessed a cesarean section here yet. I get to go to that department again to witness a normal birth - I'm excited!

Later in the day, I went to the Makola Market with Rea and the tailor across the street to buy fabric from Ghana. The tailor then took my measurements and is making me a dress. Now it's time for patience and when it's finished, I'll upload a photo🤗
