After the first two stressful weeks, we are slowly calming down. The relaxed nature of the Norwegians seems to be contagious. Setting up and taking down, putting Philip to bed, his choleric outbursts - all Ohm shanti.
We have visitors every evening here now. Thousands of flying ants on our awning. Yesterday, Papa and Philip were already fighting them with brooms and buckets of water. And now they're back. That will prevent us from taking down the awning today. Hopefully it won't rain tonight. Stupid creatures.
The night was over by half past 6. We had breakfast, everyone else was still sleeping here. Many permanent campers with monstrous caravans and fully equipped luxury awnings. So let's go to the cultural program. Checked the travel guide briefly. There's a fortress here with a moat and cannons called Gamlebyen. Philip likes that kind of thing. He had a lot to do inspecting every cannon around the moat. Meanwhile, Papa tried out the selfie stick. Typical tourist. ;) Very pretty interior of the fortress. A small old town that is still inhabited today. Everything restored and spruced up, with little shelves full of knick-knacks in the windows. Cool morning trip.
Back again - time to make dinner. Everyone is hungry. We're having pasta as usual. Then off to the beach and laze around for the rest of the day. If everyone doesn't fall into bed exhausted tonight, then I don't know...
