Finally, we're in bed. What a tiring day.

The plan was to leave for the airport at ten o'clock. Unfortunately, we forgot to book the parking garage. So we decided to leave earlier. While Dad is loading the 3 tons of luggage into the car, Mom takes one last walk through the apartment.

Something always seems to be missing, so let's get going. At the airport, there's already a huge line at counter x. It must be the tourist plane. We want good seats - so typically German, we line up. Waiting is the theme of the day... Check-in, drop off the luggage, go through security, wait some more. The flight is delayed, so we wait again. We finally take off 45 minutes late. Jule keeps fooling around until she eventually falls asleep exhausted. Philip is lucky with the onboard cinema - they're showing Lego the Movie. At least one of them is entertained. The plan was for Jule to sleep for 4 hours, but that doesn't quite work out. She wakes up after one hour, but still keeps herself busy. The super nice flight attendant brings her some food.

During the landing approach, Philip becomes more than impatient. After the tourist applause, it's time to wait again... The gangway is missing... We get on the bus and head to Fuerteventura airport. More waiting... pick up the luggage... look for the transfer bus and wait again... The kids are hyperactive, Mom is dehydrated... We reach the hotel after 40 minutes... Even though it's only 7 km away... Philip is excited about the many palm trees. We check in. Huge complex... They help us with the luggage. We are taken to the bungalow by a golf car. After the very generous buffet and Philip's unlimited ice cream, we fall asleep exhausted in bed.
