We flew back to cozy New Zealand with a red glowing face. 👩🏿👱🏾♀️✈️
For the remaining 3 weeks we stayed there, we rented a camper van that we could sleep in.🚐 We basically became campers - who would have thought!💁🏼💁🏽 It's not even bad when you're so flexible.
Thanks to a hot tip from two Englishmen, we made our way to the wine region of Renwick with Noah, where there is a cheap campsite and a cheap wine tasting. So we rented two bicycles and off we went.🚲 After the second winery, we were already feeling pretty good, but that didn't stop us from visiting 6 more wineries..🍷 People say that the record is 12 wineries in one day, but unfortunately we didn't manage to do that..😬
Well-rested and sobered up, we headed to the Queen Charlotte Track the next day, a 70 km long trail in the Marlborough Sounds. Like two crazies, we walked 25 km in just under 6 hours (or jumped). 🙈
Completely exhausted, we drove for another half an hour to the next larger city, Nelson, and there we spent a nice day in the sun with a few scoops of ice cream.🍦☀️
