Prague is really great!
But let's take it step by step.
I got up early and sat at the breakfast table in the hostel for a long time.
Drinking cappuccino, writing postcards, looking at the city guide, drinking cappuccino, reading a book, drinking cappuccino...
(When I return and the 'old asshole regular job' takes me back into its clutches, I will advocate for flexible working hours for employed teachers.)
Before I set off through picturesque Prague, there was a little commotion:
A roommate was supposed to check out but didn't. A hostel employee came to our room to find out what was going on.
By chance, I and an English buddy were present.
Well, the poor boy was lying in his bed, his alarm clock on his phone was ringing and ringing. We weren't quite sure if he were dead or alive. The truth probably lay somewhere in between, as it often does.
Next to him in the bed was a can of beer and his half-eaten hot dog from yesterday.
That looked like a night of sensory delights.
We worked together to bring him back to consciousness, shouting and shaking him.
After that, a leisurely walk through Prague.
Beautiful! 👌
