Departure from Bobritzsch was at 6:30 a.m. We crossed the Erzgebirge ridge in wonderful early morning fog and sunshine and quickly reached Prague. Now we headed for the Moravian Karst. The Punkva Cave really impressed us, especially the view from the cave up the Maccocha Gorge and the underground boat ride. Then we took the chairlift up to the plateau and were able to take a look down into the gorge. The onward journey in the late afternoon took us through Slovakia to a Danube island on the Ugarian border, where we found our first nice parking space. 582km
