Day off in Bussigny (Lausanne) 0 Km (340.1 Km)

Highlight of the day: It rained all day long.

Today I took a really necessary day off and it was good that it rained. So I could sleep until noon without much interruption and recover from the feverish feelings and toothache.

Pain-free and well-rested, I still wanted to do something. In total, I covered about 19 kilometers. This includes the train rides to Lausanne and back as well. 🤣😂

Except for a visit to a restaurant, there was actually nothing that really tempted me. But you already know that I am always fascinated by large buildings. This also includes the cathedral in Lausanne. Again and again, I am amazed by the non-existent technologies with which something like this could be built hundreds of years ago.

Afterwards, the search for a restaurant that also offers something warm continued. And I even found one, even though it was more like a pub than a restaurant. But the food was much better than I expected from this place.

To be really fit again tomorrow, I was drawn back to my accommodation. Thanks to the train delay, I even caught the train that I had already written off in my planning.

Tomorrow, Egon will accompany me again, who was already my hiking partner from Bern to Fribourg. And then André will join me for 2 stages. I am really looking forward to both of them. 😊
