Hello everyone,
Or however you want to say it. In any case, I made it through customs, despite having a lot of provisions! The scale gave it the go-ahead.
Just arrived in Switzerland, the mountains started right away. Oh no, the little mountains. From there, through the little forest, into the little countryside and finally into the little city. Thank goodness the Swiss can also speak standard German :)
After the initial shock that my backup phone from the 17th century (iPhone 3) no longer has any interface to anything, let alone GPS usage, I had to resort to the old-fashioned way of navigating with a map to Zurich. Because one thing was clear, I definitely wasn't on the coast of Ghana, I was 100% sure of that.
I then took a break in the old Western village of Winterthur. Not to be confused with Winterfell, that was in Asterix and Obelix or whatever it was called. ;) There, I had a delicious vegan quiche.
Well, without any further problems, I continued on to Zurich-West to the really cool community allotment garden (or also: Utopia of Switzerland) on Lake Zurich, where I waited for 1 hour for the stupid water fountains, in vain. From there, I went to the old town and finally to the hotel.
Okay, before that, I had to withdraw some money at the train station (because I couldn't pay for anything else here), where there happened to be an art exhibition. Pretty cool, I must say! Feel free to pick out your favorite picture!
Tomorrow, I'll have to go without the app again, because I still can't pay for roaming charges in Switzerland. It would be quite expensive otherwise.
Tomorrow, the altitude meters will be doubled. I'm curious. So far, I'm holding up.
Until then, have a great start to the week.
Your Floriiii
