Picture-perfect sunsets

Why do you have to wash and vacuum your car at 6:30 in the morning when you know you have paying guests? Well... after being rudely awakened by our vacuuming landlady this morning, we quickly left to organize breakfast.

Fortunately, we found a cute little shop called 'Dark Brew' in Hollywood that actually had decent coffee and breakfast.

Okay, I didn't need the crepe with hazelnut and almond cream, but it was delicious anyway 😋😋

Don't even ask how many times I heard the sentence 'I'm faaaaaaaaaat, we really need to lose weight...' during this vacation. If you know Sascha well, I hope I was able to make you roll your eyes  😜

Back on the highway, we drove through Miami and the Everglades towards Venice, Nokomis to Jochen.

Since we had enough stress in the past few days and we had also been driving a lot, our plan was short and simple. There was another drum circle on the beach on Saturday, and since the weather was extremely nice and the sky was cloudless, we joined the other crazy people on the beach and enjoyed a beautiful sunset while having relaxed conversations.

This time, the sunset was truly breathtaking, and there were fantastic colors in the sky as well. A place to fall in love with. We are slowly starting to understand why Jochen and his family ended up here...
