Smooth as silk

We have now completed our flight from Rome to Bangkok. What can I say? We are thrilled. We chose Thai Airways for the two long-haul flights from Rome to Bangkok and Bangkok to Auckland. Turns out, it was a good decision. 👍 As a small luxury for this special trip, we treated ourselves to a business-class flight.

...and we didn't regret it for a second. A super relaxed (except for a few minor turbulence) flight. We arrived in Bangkok according to schedule at 6:00 am local time. Since we have a layover of almost 13 hours, we checked into a "hour hotel" right here at the airport... Don't worry, it's only called an hour hotel because you can book it for a pre-determined number of hours. 🙄😀 Just for a quick shower and some sleep between the flights.

Meanwhile, we are sitting in the Thai Airways Lounge, relaxing for the upcoming flight. In about 15 hours, we should land in Auckland as scheduled. Tired but super happy with the smooth process so far, we are already looking forward to the arrival!
