This is the last day in Las Vegas. We decided to spend a quiet day by the pool. We put that into practice - at least until a thunderstorm came along (it didn't rain for several weeks 😅).
At the beginning of the evening we went to the casino and played a few rounds with the one-armed bandit 🎰. If you're in LV, you just have to gamble. But remember: the house always wins in the end 😃.
At the end we went to Strato. There we watched a really impressive show that doesn't exist in Germany and probably only in LV: Rouge. This had a somewhat erotic touch, very artistic, combined with dances and historical “reviews” from the times of France 🇫🇷 (19th century) or Julius Caesar 🇮🇹👑. Of course, college girls (and boys too), wit, passion and typical American “exaggerations” were not to be missed. Simply great! 😁👍🏻 On the way home we met an older couple at the bus stop in front of Strato - most likely from Swabia - who gave us their bus tickets. You meet Germans everywhere 😛🤙🏻
In contrast to New York, you notice that the city is a little cleaner and doesn't smell quite as strong😅. Additionally, there are no food stalls on wheels on every corner. In addition, special pedestrian bridges with escalators or elevators along the boulevard street are often used to cross the street 😅.
By the way: I - the white skin - didn't even get burned in the desert! But we'll definitely have to buy new sunscreen cream (factor 50) soon 😁.
Goodnight from Los Angeles 😴
