After a long chat the night before, it was time to sleep in and enjoy a cozy breakfast together. There were again exciting topics like everyday racism, worm boxes, or Demeter, and I received helpful tips on bicycle repairs, even including a replacement bolt for the chain :) Thanks again to my hosts for everything!
The stopover was unbeatable for small bike enthusiasts, sustainability-loving, vegan eco-aunts like me! ;)
In the afternoon, I set off again and initially cycled along the Main River to Gemünden. The section wasn't as relaxed as I had imagined due to cycling upstream and a crosswind, so I had to take a break in Gemünden. After that, I continued along the super idyllic Sinn River until I reached Altengronau. There was a barbecue area near the river with a few huts, seating, and a fireplace for overnight stays.
Since it was already quite late, I quickly had a simple dinner and once the tent was set up and I was in my sleeping bag, I was already asleep ;)
Update:
Regarding everyday racism, we had talked about an article during breakfast that I find very interesting and worth recommending, so I wanted to include the link:
