Direction Portugal Day 67

Yayyy I have reached my goal. I have moved into the apartment that will be my home for the next 2 months. It is small and nice and about 1.5 km from the beach, which is exactly how I imagined it. Great!!

It is 5 km to the center of Albufeira, but I have my bike.

Finally, a little summary:

- 3845 km driven

- not a single breakdown!!

- had to adjust the chain and brakes twice

- once ran out of battery and had to push uphill for what felt like 20 km. But it was only 1.5 km

- left 2 weeks early

- Spain was hillier than expected

- found the best bike paths in France along the coast-- the worst ones are here in Portugal, as there are none, the roads have no shoulders, and you may get honked at by trucks.

In summary: IT WAS AWESOME
