Manchester is a large city in the northwest of England with a rich industrial background, particularly in the textile industry. The city's architecture prominently features red bricks.

The building with our apartment was huge and had an impressive atrium.

Manchester was founded by the Romans and later renamed Manchester by the Normans. Vheszer is actually the translation of the word Fort. Today, the city frequently serves as a film setting. For example, Captain America was filmed here, and streets of Manchester were turned into New York.

The Peaky Blinders were also filmed here.

Manchester is also known as The Rainy City, which was ideal for cotton spinning. Manchester and the surrounding towns were known as 'Cottonopolis.' The city was the center of the country's cotton industry when Britain was responsible for 80% of the world's production of cotton yarn and fabrics.
