G'day.
So I've let my first underwater experiences sink in a little bit now. And what can I tell you - today we went a bit further with it!
I actually wanted to tell you something about our trip to other places here on the island. About historical and culturally important sites and all that. But I have to put that on the back burner because I'm so excited about my new diving adventures!
So after we got back from the trip, my oldest made room for me in his camera housing. Lo and behold: Travis has his own submarine!!
The last time I thought about it was - remember?
Lo and behold... wish fulfilled.
At first I was a bit scared. So we carefully tried it out in the pool, my oldest and I:
Woooaaaahhh, that was really quite exciting, I tell you. I could see everything outside and actually didn't get wet at all. If that's not practical. But my oldest said the water in the pool was colder than the sea. I didn't notice. But she obviously.
That's why things really started after that. We went into the real sea! Where the fish and corals are. Ok, first just about the hotel:
And then continue in:
So in the sea it was really different. Because there is no wall on the sides like in the pool. And there are waves too. And I thought: "Oh dear, if the big guys let me go now, where will I end up?"
But of course neither of my two older ones let me go. Luckily, you can really rely on both of them!
First my oldest basically put her arm around me in the submarine. This was even better than the walls in the swimming pool:
Then I really really disappeared! I mean really underwater, not just a little like last time. Can you imagine that?
My oldest held me really well. I felt completely safe despite the big, wide ocean around me.
Who would have thought a few weeks ago that I would be diving in a submarine? And I admit that I even enjoy it! Even though my heart was beating in my throat because of the excitement.
It was such an incredible experience that my head and my body and my eyes became very tired afterwards. And I had to yawn big.
I was allowed to crawl under my oldest's blanket. Eat there comfortably.
(Yawn...)
Imagine: I'm going diving with the others.
(Yawn...)
In my submarine.
(Yawn...)
And I look at all the beautiful animals and great underwater landscapes. Oh, how beautiful is that...
So many fish...
(snoring...)
Well, now the brave little adventurer is asleep. Good night and sleep well, dear Travis, our buddy bear.
When he's awake again, he'll probably talk about all the other things he's experienced recently.
Until then, warm greetings from his great one. Bye!
