Today we woke up later, whether it is the first signs of wear and tear or the first signs of retirement? The hotel didn't serve breakfast, so we went to a Panderia for coffee and croissant.
Afterwards, we tackled the obligatory climb up to 350 m. When passing through sparsely populated areas, it is important to have enough drinking water, as temperatures can quickly reach over 30°C and the altitude gain is sweat-inducing.
Today's ride took us through the countryside, on narrow paved roads through small villages with agricultural farms. A lot is grown here, we've seen oranges, lemons, olives, corn, potatoes, artichokes, lettuce, and cereals. All fields have irrigation systems🤔 Those of you who have ever smelled a blossoming orange grove will not forget the nice fragrance.
Today we are staying in a nice, relatively new 3⭐️ hotel with breakfast.😎 Then we'll recharge our energy to conquer the 1,000 km tomorrow. As a reward, we'll take a day off cycling, with a pool....
Once again, thank you all for following the blog, it's probably because of the number of daily reports and your clicks that we are now among the top 50 at 'varkantio'.
