It is now just after 12 o'clock. About an hour ago we arrived in Point Cook, a seemingly new district of Melbourne. We were a bit skeptical because our accommodation was not recognizable as such. It is located in the middle of a new residential area with new single-family houses. So we first explored the area. There is a café nearby, a good opportunity to use the toilet. After half an hour we tried again. Now we were lucky: a friendly Chinese opened the door for us and said that we were too early and the room still had to be cleaned. He gave us the code for the combination lock at the entrance, we went and returned as agreed shortly after 12 o'clock. Now everything was ready. We moved into our room with bathroom and toilet. The price for both of us and for a total of three nights is an incredible 130 euros, so 44 euros per night for two people. You can overlook the type of furnishings (photo).
There is a small park nearby where we took photos of the birds (photos).
And on the way, about 20 km from Lorne, in the same place as last time, we saw them again and took photos: kangaroos. But smartphones can only deliver limited quality. This time we were more careful, stayed in the car, and took photos from this position so as not to scare them away. The result is a bit better (photo). You can see a gate in front of it; it limits a huge area to the road, which belongs to a farm. This also includes the forest behind it, where the kangaroos eventually disappeared.
We have just returned from a trip to a neighboring suburb, which is 12 km away. The few photos (a total of three) that I took are now also uploaded.
