Über Tromsø to Sommarøy

Stage 34: Heia - Sommarøy: In Tromsø (the gateway to the Arctic or also known as the Paris of the North) our first destination is one of the few Telia shops in Norway to top up our internet credit. This time everything worked smoothly with the bank card and everything else. After that, we have a trip planned to the mountain behind Tromsø - yes, more stairs, 1200 this time to reach the summit. (I took the photo at stair 1000, then fog rolled in). Then we continue our journey over the island of Kvaløya to Sommarøy. Here, a hotelier submitted a proposal to the Storting (Parliament) that the island, connected to the mainland by bridges, should become the first time-free zone in the world - as an anti-stress measure... whatever the case, it looks like the Caribbean, only the temperatures and the wind are typical of northern Norway...
