Snaefellsnes, Snæfellsjökull National Park

September 14th, 2023: Wonderful weather today - we use it to explore Snaefellsjökull National Park. The most exciting and beautiful part was driving the road 570, which is actually only reserved for four-wheel drive vehicles, towards the glacier crater. Jules Verne succumbed to the charm of this unique volcano. The glacier is considered one of the seven largest energy centers on earth and is said to have various mystical powers. In his work “Journey to the Center of the Earth”, Jules Verne made the crater the starting point of this fantastic journey.
