Between the Arctic Circle and spontaneous plan changes 🚐

We leave our campsite and head towards Narvik. Our plan: go as far north as possible so that we can reach our next destination, the Lofoten Islands, by the weekend. The landscape here is very exciting and it constantly changes from lush green and trees to barren mountains.

On the way there, in Storforshei, we cross the Arctic Circle and make a short stop. We take a little walk, explore the surroundings and the sculpture.

The journey continues... But only briefly: suddenly, we encounter an endless traffic jam in front of a tunnel with no possibility of taking a detour... we wait at first, but since the situation doesn't improve, we look for alternatives and find one: we can go an hour back and continue to Bodø, where we can take a ferry at 3 o'clock in the night towards the Lofoten Islands. We change our plans, book the ticket online immediately, and change the destination 😅😇

In the evening, we arrive near the port at a parking lot, where we will spend a short night 💤
