Panamacanal

Today morning, it was finally time for the tour of the Panama Canal✨ My body can't wait to wake up before 5 am again, I'm constantly tired again from 1 am.

But the tour was very beautiful. Apart from the fact that all the other white Ü70 Germans were also there. When you enter, you actually get a pretty romantic picture of the canal. After the harbor, you only have nature on both sides, interrupted only by houses, while pelicans and other birds fly above you. This creates a feeling that you feel like a mix of Dora the Explorer and Lara Croft, at least as long as you manage to ignore the others and the constant talk of the guide :D

Going through the locks with such a large cargo ship was quite exciting. And at the same time, realizing that a large part of the canal was artificially created is both exciting and frightening.

But the very very best thing was the baked bananas we had for lunch, I would have loved to eat them all.

Tomorrow we are heading to Chichime Island and then I will finally see the beach 🏝️
