Hellooooo, I didn't do much over the weekend, although it was Nora's and Finja's last weekend... but Nora was on a trip with her organization and I spent too much money two weeks ago because of St. Patrick's Day etc. and that's why I decided to stay at home and finish my art project. At UCC Collage in Cork, there is an art contest with the theme "Irshie Fossils". I was really excited at first and imagined some very interesting fossils... well, in Ireland they didn't find such beautiful ones, mainly ammonites, this mix of snails and octopuses... but I found them really boring because it felt like everyone chose them. I also found an ichthyosaur fossil, but the fossil of it looked really weird, so I just chose this elk. I have to be honest, I didn't paint the back part because I didn't have the time and the nerves for it. I'm actually quite proud of the end result and I have to tell you, I erased the ass as well as the head so many times, it just never looked acceptable. I know it looks a bit misshapen, but it had a really long, wide body and neck and super thin legs and head. Well, at least it was fun to "color" it and by the way, I rewatched The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings👍 so I have to say it was a successful weekend.
