Day 9 & 10 - San Francisco

The 9th day of our journey started again very early, to be precise at 05.15 a.m. While Washington DC was still fast asleep, we were already on our way to Dulles Airport. Shortly afterwards, we took off towards the West Coast with our Virgin America plane and after a little more than 5 hours of flight time, it was time to say 'Welcome to California'.

The journey was quite exhausting, so our first sightseeing tour through San Francisco was not very long. But as they say, postponed is not canceled. :-)

Well rested, on the 10th day we could really get started. What can we say about San Francisco. The city is very different from our previous stages, New York and Washington. So today we were looking forward to exploring the city's many sights. Since it's already quite late, I will refrain from lengthy explanations today and let the pictures speak for themselves. :-)
