After a night on an abandoned and overgrown parking lot, we drove away from the coast and into the interior. Since we have been camping in the wild for the last two nights, we looked for a campsite. Among other things, to finally take a warm shower 🚿.
The weather was fantastic, just like the past few days. Every morning the sun greets us, which practically never sets at this time of year. There is only a slight twilight from about 12 o'clock to 4 o'clock at night. 🌝
After a short drive, we stopped where we liked it best. That's what we always do when we're looking for a place to sleep, and most of the time we agree. 😉
As soon as the camper was parked and plugged into the power (yes, our refrigerator is still alive 😅), we went into the icy cold water. A German couple, who camped next to us, challenged us! We quickly got into conversation with them and stayed with them. The atmosphere at the small lake of the campsite, where the fishermen went fishing in the middle of the night, was mega idyllic. ☺️
After a quiet night and further chatting with the Germans into the afternoon, we set off for a bigger city. You can see where we went in the next blog! 😃
On the way, we stopped to eat. The German couple had told us that a pizza costs about 30 francs and that they unfortunately never ate out with these prices. But I couldn't possibly go three weeks without pizza!! 😯 So I bought a pizza dough and fried small pizzas in a pan. To Fabian's amazement, they tasted really delicious!! 🍕😍
We really enjoy driving through the Norwegian landscape! There are mountains, lakes, waterfalls, and forests everywhere, and nature seems so incredibly powerful, like nowhere else in the world! 🌎🌳
