09&10|02|19, Living like in a video game

Hi guys,

the last two days were pretty cool!😊

Yesterday we went to the "Caitlin Forest Park" where we went hiking. In general, you can imagine it like a road going through a big forest. The forest is very close to the sea, so the road offers beautiful views. In the morning we got up early. To wake up, I took a little walk through the forest next to the campground and then we started. First, we went to a nearby waterfall, the "McLean Falls", which were really impressive. I felt like I was in a video game, everything looked like I was watching my dad play "Tomb Raider". Since we already felt like in a video game, we spontaneously decided to climb up the waterfall. Not directly along the water, but a bit next to the waterfall, but still, we felt like true climbing professionals when we reached the top. The view from above onto the waterfall was really beautiful. We soon climbed back down and then continued to "Cannibal Bay". Here, a few relaxed sea lions were waiting for us, dozing on the beach. We could walk really close to the sea lions along the beach and it was really cool to see these animals lying on the beach in the wild!😊

Next stop was "Nugget Point", a famous place here in New Zealand, located on the coast. From a platform of a lighthouse, you have a view of many small islands (nuggets) in the water. A very beautiful spot where we could take cool photos.

Afterwards, we went back to "Lumsden", to the campground where we spent the last 3 nights. I would almost say that I found the best campground in New Zealand here. You have everything here and the atmosphere with the other campers is really cool!😊

Today we spent the day here at the campground. The task of the day was to create an ad for our van. We drove to a remote spot by a river and took everything out of the car, cleaned it, took lots of photos, and then packed everything up nicely again. We were really surprised to find out what we could still find under our bed!😅

The rest of the day we spent at the campground, cooking delicious food, and now we're in bed. The ad for our car is now online and we're extremely excited about tomorrow because we're going to "Milford Sound" where we will take a boat tour through a fjord. Many people consider "Milford Sounds" to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. So we're really looking forward to our tour!😍
