Nordkapp - Stage 19

In the morning, we follow a bicycle path sign and realize after about 10 km that we are being led in a wide arc around the nearby town of Västervik, all on the unpaved roads that constantly go up and down. So ultimately, a 15 km detour that is most exhausting!

In Västervik, you cross a bridge onto a long peninsula, which also brings with it steep hills. Due to the peninsulas and skerries, you continue towards Loftahammar, which can be reached via a large bridge. Lots of traffic, probably half of Stockholm is heading to the skerries for Midsummer. And everyone wants to arrive by 18:00 for the Sweden European Championship match.
