Kerikeri - first job

The day before yesterday (Monday) when Cynthia and I were shopping, we found vegan mayonnaise & vegan chocolate spread - in the evening I made pasta salad 💪

Yesterday morning, I had my first job (together with Cynthia and some others from our hostel) - woohoo.

4 hours of work in the Avocado Packhouse. So pretty easy - packing avocados into boxes on the conveyor belt.. ta-da.

After that, Cynthia went to sleep and I sat in the sun for a few hours. At some point, Daniel (the Swedish fruitarian) sat next to me and we talked until the rest of my roommates came back from work. It was about 21 degrees, but when you sit in the sun here, it always feels much warmer.. but in the evening it's still quite cold & since the hotel's kitchen is outside and you also have to go outside to get to the communal bathrooms, you always think twice in the evening whether you want to eat something again, or maybe take a shower in the morning 😄

On Wednesday morning, we only worked for 3 hours, in the evening we went to a pub in the city center with a total of 12-15 people and participated in the 'Quiz Night'. The average age there was more around 60-70 which made it even more fun 😄

At night, we celebrated Fritz's birthday - woohoo 20 - happy birthday #you little stalker haha✌️
